If one is going to present something like that, at least use a source or so, that is somewhat more professional than our often water downed world where people read it and then think they are experts.
Would LOVE to have a small (not necessarily tiny) super insulated house of let's say 800 sq. feet or smaller with a nice sun porch and a wood or pellet stove. In the summer we would be outside a lot either at jobs, or on the sun porch reading or enjoying the view, or tending a garden or going for a hike or walk up-street. In the winter We would curl up in recliners by the stove and read, listen to the radio, TV. Low heating bills, low cooling bills (one decent sized window air conditioner could cool it all).
It would be great! I would no longer have to live in an overcrowded house with 8-10 people who get drunk and fight a lot! No more domestic violence and police calls. Sounds good to me.
I am all for tiny houses, but one thing conveniently left out of this infographic is the average number of dwellers in an average house versus tiny house. As if we're too stupid not to notice.

800 sq. Ft is still much smaller then the average home something that small with a wood stove would blow you out of there. It seems that people who live in smaller houses tend to be those who love the outdoors.
The tiny house and the property it is on are free?
No, but they are much easier to afford and pay for. And even easier to afford and pay for if you build the tiny house yourself and with reclaimed materials. And because many tiny house are fitted to be off grid, you don't need to spend as much on prepping a piece of land.

Yes, but for the price of an oversized home some could afford several tiny homes to accommodate several family members.
