Trump made the same mistake in promising The Wall that BO did in his Syrian Red Line thing: don't make threats unless you know you can & will carry thru.

We should take a lesson from history: Hadrian's Wall succeeded not because it was a physical barrier to the Scots, but because it presented a line of site for the Roman guards from one garrison post to the next. It was the Drone of its day.

(A little known fact about Hadrian's Wall is that it was built not because the Romans didn't like the Scots, but because they just didn't want them crossing into Roman territory bringing those damn, annoying bag pipes with.)
We should take another lesson from history: next time hire an experienced candidate.

This Congress couldn't manage to order out for pizza, let alone get a major bill past both houses.

Ah, marketing.

Just put the word "solar" on it and everyone will think it's a good idea. If it's "good for the environment," it's obviously the right thing to do.

It's become apparent that neither party is capable of governing the country any more

That could be said about govt for a very long time, it's just that it's become so obvious lately.

Politicians are only interested in winning votes. The Prime Directive of all politicians and bureaucrats is to first ensure their own jobs. The perfect way to do that is to create an imaginary problem that can never be solved-- since they invented it, only they can say when it's solved. If it's ever solved, they would be out of a job, therefore, they will never admit to having solved it. QED.

Climate change
Tax reform
Healthcare funding
Immigration reform

These problems are all caused or invented by govt.

Like Obama, the Great Community Organizer? He was a lowly Democrat Block Captain in Chicago: his job was to make sure all the old people on his assigned block had a ride to the polls on election day. As a gift for service he was sent to Springfield as a legislator and never voted.

Both sides hate Trump because he's not one of them. He's trying to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs and they resent it.
