It's not funny. It's sad they are so ignorant of the science. But worse, they consider it a religion and insist that the rest of us convert.

What ever happened to freedom of religion? "Congress shall pass no laws respecting an establishment of religion...."

People who want to drive electric vehicles, are a religion that is ignorant of science? and they want to convert others?

Really?

I drive a plug-in. I am not trying to convert anyone to anything, I just want to cut down on buying gasoline. I use solar power to fuel my car. How does that show ignorance of science?

Your choices are apparently made for your personal economic reasons. But you are an anecdotal case.

The religious fanatics have gotten the govt to declare co2 a poison. They have forced our energy rates up by limiting coal usage, forcing "pollution standards" (scientifically arbitrary) on our autos, getting multiple countries to sign onto international treaties about energy usage affecting the daily lives of citizens that have no demonstrable benefits except to begger nations, etc etc.

If they want to live their lives that way, fine. But leave the rest of us out of it.

Lamborghini unveils its new supercar- and it's electric. Developed with the collaboration of MIT.

The only problem is, at 250mph, it only goes 26ft before the batteries run out of juice (I'm kidding.)
