Why would you be surprised at the atttudes here. It's prevalent throughout the Earth. Watch the News everyday , take a walk out your door and walk through town. While I'll agree that many of the big companies together have got to straighten things out in their backyard, the worst threat to the planet's ecosystems is the average Joe/Jane world citizen.
Scientist even admit that many of their ideas for improvement are mere stopgap measures with no real proof of succeeding, but even if they are believed, what assurance is there that everyone will climb on board and change ??? I live in the Secular Progressive
ECO-Green country of
Sweden where you'd think they would be the best example anywhere. While they may have been at one time, they no longer can make that claim. I live in Göteborg in western
Sweden and many don't have the drive anymore to do the right thing when it comes to being
Green. Parents have'nt instilled these traits well enough in their kids for it to make a difference. Flashing a badge and brandishing a gun to folks head isn't the answer either.
