Activists topple towers, claim dangers of AM radio waves - CNN.com

(CNN) -- A group cited by U.S. officials as a domestic terrorism threat claimed responsibility Friday for knocking down two radio station towers in Snohomish County, Washington.

The Earth Liberation Front (ELF) issued a statement saying opponents of the towers argue that "AM radio waves cause adverse health effects including a higher rate of cancer, harm to wildlife, and that the signals have been interfering with home phone and intercom lines."

The ironic thing is, in large quantities water does about the same thing. Hey, I know, lets ban water from the planet too that way no one will ever drown again, no one will get electrocuted in a bath tub, and soil erosion won't take place.

This is the same group that caused millions of dollars of damage to ski area facilities in Colorado a few years ago. It took awhile, but the case was solved and I recall that several of their membership were awarded fairly lengthy prison sentences.

I hope that the authorities can find those responsible for this current destruction and put them in for life ....

I hope they find those responsible and mulch them up to help their precious environment.

Don't they know by now that violent actions for their cause only hurts it in the end?
