I guess in defense of those communities, I would say that city living is not for everyone, and even though it may be a light shade of green, it's still a step forward. Thanks again, and keep checking those walkscores!

Liked the website, except that I couldn't look at specifics without giving my details.
I wanted to ask what building materials the homes in Lennon Hills NC were built with?
Liked the semipervious concrete driveways, but wasn't quite sure exactly what the xeriscape was, although it sounded good.
Is it just the practice of using plants/grass that are natives and drought resistant and minimising lawned areas?
Seems like often people have huge amounts of lawned areas, and spend half their lives reseeding, aerating (clay soil where we are ) watering and complaining! I plan to get rid of most of our lawn-too much hassle. Would rather have drought resistant plants to look after!
