What does Iran have to do with our domestic alternate energy sources? When has Iran been killing our soldiers?

Wind power, backed up by hydroelectric pumped storage, is a viable energy source. What is not viable is burning coal for electric energy because of the pollution created or concentrated by the combustion. Why are we still concentrating on burning 18th century fuel to power 19th century engines?

And GE has a policy of not doing any business with Iran. Someone didn't get the memo.
