A friend of mine sent this along and I thought it was pretty interesting. The new film, Oceans opens Earth Day 2010 and a portion of every ticket purchased during the opening week will benefit the Conservancy’s Adopt a Coral Reef program. I like when they tie in these sorts of things together with ticket sales...not to mention Pierce Brosnan is the narrator!

I liked the original BBC series much better.

Really? I don't think this is the same footage. I also love the huge screens in the theaters.

Love this blooper reel with Demi and Joe Jonas. I actually really like their duet for this movie, "Make A Wave"

Did anyone get a chance to check this movie out yet? I did yesterday and I loved it. I really loved the beautiful creatures and inside look into their lives! I loved the music that accompanied it as well!

Earth was the same footage as the BBC series, so I'm assuming this one is as well.
The narrator in the original, Attenborough, actually knew what he was talking about, rather than some celebrity reading a script. Each segment is much longer and involved, rather than a quick skipping over this and that.
It's cool that nature documentaries are becoming popular. Hopefully this will intrigue people so that they will watch better ones.
