yeah, and that's not really good news. because if tar balls are washing up unrelated to this accident, who knows what the extent of the larger pollution/contaminant problem out there could be.

News is saying right now that the oil spill has reached the Mississippi wetlands, they have video, it aint pretty.
Also, EPA has told BP that they need to find less toxic dispersants, EPA gave them 3 days to comply.

Just saw on the news that BP says they are only getting about 2k barrels a day from the big straw, not the 5k they said earlier........makes me wonder if they are getting anything at all?

I work for an oil company so according to 2 of my friends that makes me a gang member. At least they are picky on who they hire they don't just hire everything that breaths. They like people that are republican, conservative, and not treehuggers.

BP is boasting that they're capturing 5,000 barrels a day. The volume from the two leaks is therefore going to be much higher than the figures the BP and its government reps have been saying. Probably 20 times higher or more.

We need to build a new jail just for the ones responsible for this mess. In it we would feed them tainted fish and shellfish and let them drink water that smelled of oil....BUSH is gone but the big business deals that BUSH did nothing about that favor big business and disregard OUR country is still hurting us,,
