Looking for antique stores in the area. Been to the ones on Peter's Creek Parkway, any others worth checking out?

There's an antique store at the corner of Brookstown and Burke St. (across from the Lighthouse restaurant), and another at the shops on Reynolda Rd. next to Hanes Park.

I've found that antique stores around here aren't really full of "antiques", most have things from the 1950s and 1960s and they're considered antiques.

The antique stores in Walnut Cove (North of W-S) would be a nice trip for you too. The main one is Just Plain Country which is two stories. There's at least one more in downtown Walnut Cove too.

(note that they're closed Sun/Monday)

On your way to Walnut Cove, there's a neat little antique store in Germanton too.

The Burlington Hospice Flea Market is going on right now too. It's HUGE and sorted into departments, so you'll be able to follow the map to antiques/collectibles or spend several hours browsing through everything.

Another road trip for you...
Hillsville, VA flea market: Labor Day Flea Market & Gun Show - Hillsville.com (Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends)
Parking is a couple bucks. There's a fenced in area (VFW lot) that charges a few bucks for admission to shop those booths, but there are tons of others lining the streets and in other pastures in the town. It takes a full day to visit all of the booths... oh, and be sure to wear your walking shoes

There are a number of antique/junk stores along US 52 just across the VA line. We rode up that way earlier this summer to pick cherries, hit some of the produce stands, and wander around Mt. Airy a bit. Made for a fun day!
