My husband and I are possibly moving to Winston Salem from Naples Fl due to a job transfer. What would be a nice/safe area that we should consider? We will be renting.
Near the Lewisville area is nice, and around Country Club and Robin Hood area is nice also. Very populated in my NC opinion but coming from FL you may think it is not so bad.
There are many nice areas in Winston-Salem and the surrounding suburbs. Generally, the west side of town is considered more desirable, but that's a gross generalization. There are nice areas in other parts of town too. Clemmons, Lewisville, and Kernersville are very desirable if you want to live a little farther out. Downtown is also up-and-coming, so you might consider renting a downtown condo.

Thanks for the information..I will check those areas. There are two options for us. One is Winston Salem and the other is Colorado Springs. We're still debating on which one will be better for us. Thanks again
