Not sure why that is; perhaps too many people with the mind set of the portions have to be shovel sized?
Tapas restaurants have difficulty getting rooted here.

Default option

My favorite dim sum place in the whole world, including Asia, is in suburban Maryland, right outside Washington, DC.

It was just a regular Chinese restaurant during the week, but on Saturdays and Sundays served fantastic dim sum. Push carts circulating and tallying up items you chose. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

Would be great if one of Triad's Chinese places followed this model, if there isn't enough demand to support restaurant devoted exclisively to dim sum seven days per week.
