Holy smokes!! I don't think I would have noticed it if it had not been an aerial view!! I'm going to bet this is rectified...and soon!

It was. The marking company that had the contract and made the mistake changed it asap. The school district had nothing to do with creating the mistake.

When I saw this on the news, my first thought was that the people who did that job likely couldn't speak English.

I wonder if the employers are using e-verify for workers that we the taxpayers are paying for. Looks like that's not the case.

Toodie, so you are saying that just because someone doesn't know how to spell, then he or she must be an immigrant, and for that matter, illegal?
I've known some Americans whose spelling is terrible, probably worse than mine, and I'm a first generation immigrant.

Please, don't assume that just because someone is new to this country, then that person is a complete idiot. Believe me, uneducated people come in all shapes and colors.
