Last year we came down from VA and went to a Christmas farm. You walked through a series of "events" - singers, storytellers, Christmas lights, the Grinch, Santa Claus, etc. I can't remember what it was called and we want to take the girls again this year. Can anyone help?

That sounds neat! Do you remember what city it was close to? Were you in the mountains or closer to WS? I'd like to try and visit this year too

It sounds like Castle McCulloch -Christmas Castle (http://www.castlemcculloch.com/festivals.asp?id=41 - broken link)it's not a farm, but it does have walkthroughs like you described. We've been taking our daughter every year and she loves it. If this isn't what you went to, I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Is it this??
Pilot Mountain Christmas is off of Hwy 268 E about 2 miles from Pilot Mountain. It is a walking display, have heard good things about it and we hope to visit this year.

Hello,
Ive actually stopped to talk with her on my way home one day! She agreed to let me put her bike in my car, and to take her to first street, beside First Street bar and grill! We actually had a very great conversation! She explained to me how she would want to go to the movies, being she haven't been in a while! As our conversation carried on, I told her I didn't want to hold her up, but she insisted on staying in the car to talk with me! Our conversation went all over the place, but not once did I acknowledge her living situations or her well being! Before she got out of my car, she pulled out a hand full of change, and a stick of Wrigley's chewing gum, saying, "Well this is all I have to give you right now, but I thank you a lot." Of course I didn't accept her change, but I did take her up on that stick of gum! Lol. I promised her that one day I will pick her up and we would go to the movies, but I haven't had a chance to do so. Once we were done talking, I was overly ecstatic to call and fill my friends and family members in on what I had just experienced. Overall, I was shocked that she agreed to let me give her a ride, let alone the great conversations and the connections we made with one another! Ms./Mrs. Esther has a great heart, and is more so a giver, rthan a receiver!
