for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. My husband is from Winston but has no idea what the "happening" places are right now. Please help!!

We could be of more help if you can narrow it down a bit. Are you looking for something high-end or casual? Is this a huge gala with dozens of people, or just dinner for four at a nice quiet place?
