I have about 4 hours to kill in WS later on this spring. Done the Old Salem bit. Is Wake Forest worth visiting and walking around?

Over the years, I have spent hours at both Duke and UNC, but never really visited Wake. What do you think?

Yes, the Wake campus and surrounding area are very nice to walk around. There are unique shops at Reynolda Village right next door, as well as Reynolda Gardens and the Reynolda House Museum of Art.
