Not a fan of BBQ, but love Skippy's hotdogs in Winston-Salem. The pretzel buns, great toppings and fries are what got me hooked. Plus, it is a bonus you can get a bottle of Sam Adams with your hotdog!

PBs on Hawthorne Rd for hot dogs (voted #1 many times) and Little Richards BBQ on Country Club Rd for BBQ - both in W-S.

I vote Lexington Barbecue #1 off bus 85 as the best. I also like they have chunk option too.

I saw Pullimans in Winston mention on a Charlotte TV station for hot dogs does it live up to the hype?

Pulliams does have good hot dogs, but only their hot dogs.

As an aside, some of the best hot dogs I've ever had were at golf course grilles.

For hot dogs, I liked Zack's Hot Dogs in Burlington. And another vote for Little Richard's BBQ in W-S.

Zack's isn't worth it after they jacked their prices. West Webb Curb Market is the place if you're looking for hot, delicious wieners.

There are a number of good bbq places, if they have been open more that a year, odds are they serve good bbq. But....go to Hams for a hotdog, well, actually I get one of their Kosher dogs,---or two! I always prefered the one on Friendly, up from Lake Daniels park, but, then again, that was the one I lived closest to. Mustard, Kraut, and Onions is my preference. Hams has always had good fries.

Ok Hot Dogs.

Pulliams
PB's
Little Red Caboose

Hot dogs ok.

The best and overlooked. Go to a little league field on Saturday!!!! If they have the red ones better.

I have to second the mention of golf courses as some of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Sad to say though, that's about the only place I get nitrate dogs.

As for BBQ, I like Bib's in downtown Winston for their brisket, it's the best I've had this side of Texas.
