Greensboro NC 27406 Homes for Sale & 27406 Real Estate - Zillow You have a choice area. Hope I say this right. Area to the north is in the news a lot for crime. Above I-85/ Hwy 29-70. The southern area gets rural. Doing a search on zillow by zip code (link above) You can see how the area is as far as home price range. Parts of this area are industrial & commercial. (Middle and east) For the most part the high the home price the better the area in most cases (not all). I'm sure that will get me a few comments. are to the south and south east.

Depending on what price range you are looking to stay and what space requirements you need, I wouldn't limit yourself to one zip. There are some good crime stat maps on Greensboro city's website that might shed some insight as well as my own.

Default You should be happy in Greensboro!

I relocated to Greensboro from Philadelphia in 2007, Greensboro is absolutely beautiful ( every season) and is a nice place to raise small children. Teenagers will be bored...unless in college there. Greensboro is very family oriented, church is a regular every Sunday for most folks. The food in the South in my opinion taste better than here up North. The School System is good depending on where you move, I lived in 27455 area, and I was pleased with the education my child received. You should be pleased..... unfortunately for me....I am now living back North in New Jersey, moved back 2010, sold our beautiful brand new home after my husband and I discovered the salaries there could not support us. ( I'm an RN and my salary was cut in half) Good Luck, Southern Hospitality is alive and well in Greensboro! I will always be glad I had the opportunity to experience living there....also we met really nice people there!!

Default gso where to live

I have lived in greensboro for 6 yrs I live in River Hills Plantations off bryant Blv 27410 20 mins from anywhere in GSO its a family orientated neighbourhood and considered the best school district in our area.
All the kids play on the street together there is a walking pathe lake and playground at the back of our house and we have had no issues with crime or kids in trouble. regretfully we had to move for our jobs and would go back in a heart beat.Moderator cut: tos violation
