Retired professionalwoman writer interested in green spaces, quiet places but energetic, progressive political engagement, inviting community living -- considering moving this year to Greensboro, NC, what are my chances of finding this quality of life? Responses appreciated.
I suspect that GSO has a higher than average education quotient. University of N.C.@ Greensboro, N.C. A.& T. University, Guilford college, Greensboro College and within an hours drive, Duke U., U. of NC @ Chapel Hill, Wake Forest U. , N. C. Central U. , N.C. State U., Elon U. And, there are also Randolph County, Alamance County, Guilford County, Durham County, Wake County, and Orange Co community colleges. The educational opportunities in this area are truly vast. The two best Mexican Restaurantes in the state are in Orange Co. 1 in Chapel Hill "La Fiesta Grille" and in Mebane, " La Cocina " Tis a nice educated neck of the woods, friendly people and a multiplicity of entertainment forms.
