I checked prices via Gasbuddy and what Spouse reports as he heads into W-S each day. I speculate that it is because a new Sheetz was recently built along that stretch, but gas in Mocksville is running under 3.40/gal as of 6/12. Heading into the city on 801 or 158 and you see prices spike to 3.50+, but on 601 (exit 170 on I-40) the half-dozen stations who do business along there have the price set at ~3.37.

Nice! I was just in High Point today where it's 3.45 all over town and thought that was pretty good (3.57 by my house in WS and 3.68 in K-ville).
