Default Clemmons???

Looking at moving to the WS area. Have 2 children in Elementary and Middle school. Based on some research the Clemmons area looks nice. Read some post from 2008 that Clemmons was nice, but was getting crowded and roads were not keeping up. Is this still true in 2011?

When someone in Clemmons complains about traffic, it's like someone in southern California complaining about the rain. We just don't have that much traffic, so when there is a slight delay people really notice.

At its worst, it might take you 5 extra minutes to get from one side of Clemmons to the other. From about 5:15 to 5:30 on work days, there will be relatively heavy volumes on Lewisville-Clemmons Rd. and on US 158. But really it's hardly worth noting at all.

That doesn't sound bad at all.....I am currently in a area where 1 minor accident can cause an hour delay. Thank you for responding

They have since made Lewisville-Clemmons Rd. A four lane divided roadway. The only delay is when they have traffic control for the school traffic in the afternoons. And that is like a wait a macdonalds/ Nothing.

Clemmons is awesome! I'm "ALWAYS" in this little city and I completely love it. My fiance lives here so I'm here quite a bit. There is very little traffic here and the people are very friendly. If you like a quiet and peaceful city then this place is for you. They have some gorgeous homes here as well. I have my eye on a house in this city.
