With project slated and others coming on line. What do you think should be closed, opened or other? What works. What does not.

Some of mine.
1. Close Vargrave exit and on ramps. Fill over the bridge gaps.
2. Remove the ped. crossover bridge and remove the bridge over Hwy 52 before Waughtown Street.

Every entry/exit ramp on Bus 40 is a clusterf**k.

It is and it isn't. If you're new to the area/only drive at rush hour or drive it infrequently, it is a complete cluster. But having driven that area multiple times each day for the past 4 years, it's not AS bad. But, my preference for the bridge work they're planning is that they shut the whole thing down for as long as it takes to do it right. I can't imagine having that road with partial lane closures for 6-8 years. Dealing with the partial closures as they do inspections and repairs this past year have been blood boiling.

The ramps from Hwy 52 to Stratford. Need to be updated and designed. They need to widen Bus I-40 to support a exit merge lane from Church street to Peterscreek. Ramps are to close leave no room to increase speed to merge with traffic. The Green street bridge (one that was hit) has been closed forever. Remove it. Reconfigure the ramps to remove the clover design. Remove the bridge past Peterscreek and do the same. Redesign Church & Cherry Street ramps.

I would like DOT to update the interchange from Business 40 to Hwy 52. I travel that way every day to go to work... yikes! Also, that area needs some lighting for the winter months... it is too dark at that interchange at night and it is not safe.

I'm glad that something will be done to update the highways... whatever they end up doing will be an improvement!

Should have been here before !-40 was rerouted. When Business 40 was I-40 you would have a wreak about every other day that would tie up traffic. About every other month a truck would flip getting on I-40 east from south 52. Happens now less often now.
