Hi folks. I will be relocating to Wake Forest in October and several people have told me to purchase my furniture in High Point. I realize this is a big place and there are many stores and warehouses to choose from. Where do I start??? Does anybody here have recommendations for stores or even websites that I can use to start my research? I heard great things about the quality and craftsmanship of the furniture here and look forward to shopping my heart out!
Thanks!! Ilissa |

I suggest you start with FuritureLand South. They have a great web site. Furnitureland South - North Carolina's Premiere Discount Furniture Showplace
They have a large section and if you find something you like then you can go to the manufacture's web site and find other stores that carry their product to try and get the cheapest price. The store is located on Business 85 in Jamestown. They also have a clearance center. If you are going to go to the store itself I suggest you leave yourself at least a half day - the place is HUGE. Good Luck - Have Fun. |

Labor day weekend will probably be best time to buy furniture about all the furniture stores have very good sales during this holiday and memorial holiday weekend. If you do go to High Point I also recommend driving down Main Street High Point and the side streets I believe it is Wrenn St loads of furniture stores line the streets. If you are looking for a special piece to add to the collection I suggest going to Greensboro downtown for numerious antique furniture stores.
