You cannot miss it becuase it is a huge Church. 2 services 9:00 am and 11:00. I would recommend the 11 am service as being the best. You can check out the website at www.wsfirst.com God Bless
Thanks...I'm the one in Wallburg (don't know if OP found a church). We considered WS First, but it's larger than we prefer. It's tough to have a church large enough to have an active youth/student program with a lot of kids but not be too large of a church. We do like both C3 and Harvest Church in Greensboro. We also like Connection Church, which is close to us. They're new and seem to be growing.

Do you know of an ethnically diverse church in Winston-Salem that has contemporary worship but is not associated with the religious right or social/political convervatism.

Hombre: it's unfortunate that contemporary worship services and disconnection from the religious right do not go hand in hand--they're actually very closely related in a lot of instances. I'm 29, open minded and Christianm and times like these have spiritually challenged me now more than ever.

For more moderate/leftish churches, check out Wake Forest Baptist, Knollwood Baptist, Green St. UMC, Parkway UCC, and the like. Though they may not be as contemporary as you desire, however they offer an open and accepting environment.

Most every larger church these days has both traditional and contemporary services. I know most of the ones mentioned above do.
