I'm looking to buy a new, undrilled, entry level bowling ball from someone so I went to Countryside Lanes in Kernersville and they want $40 for drilling a ball they didn't sell. It's a nice ball but adding the $40 to have it drilled it's not worth the price.

Does anyone know where I can get the ball drilled for less money?

Any recommendations on where to buy an entry level ball with the drilling at a good price?
Thanks

Try other bowling alleys, but I don't know who besides a bowling alley would drill bowling balls! Part of the process is having you throw it and see how it rolls, right?

Maybe a sporting goods store that sells balls will drill them for you, but I'd prefer getting it done somewhere that bowling is their business.

Sounds like a trip to Lowes, a $5 drill bit and access to a drill press...jk I know years ago sporting goods stores used to sell bowling equipment and you could get balls drilled, but I don't think they will anymore. Like the previous poster, you're better off going to the lanes. Either buy a ball from them (since drilling I'm sure is included or reduced buying from them) or cough up the $ they want to charge you to drill. That or continue to use house balls.
