Hi,
I started on a new job here at winston-salem this week and hence am relocating to this area along with my wife. We are from Indian background, moving from Pittsburgh, PA. I have found many good apartments over here, but the online reviews have been very discouraging/scary mentioning crime and safety related issues. Can anyone suggest family friendly(w/Indians if possible) rental apartments around 27103 area, where it's safe?

Clemmons is a very nice suburb with A rated schools if that is important to you. I would look for apartments in the 27012 (Clemmons) ZIP Code or Winston-Salem 27103 & 27104 ZIP Codes are mostly safe areas it seems. Good Luck
Yes, for the most part. In general it's more of a working class/blue collar area, but the neighborhoods seem safe and there are some areas that are very nice.
