Hello,

I am moving to Greensboro early August by using ABF U-pack service and need a help to upload my stuff up to my apartment on the 2nd floor. U-Pack lists several recommended moving companies for upload service in or near Greensboro, but they are pricy in my opinion since I don't have a lot of furniture (my apartment size is large studio.). When I was moving in my current apartment, my friends (2 men) finished moving everything less than 1 hour.

Could anybody let me know ASAP (sorry, but i really need to make a whole moving arrangement asap) about a reasonable and reliable moving company that provides services in Greensboro? I was told "two men and a track" is good, but there are a couple of "two men and a track" in and around Greensboro area and don't know which one is good.

Students might be very helpful and the fee would be much lower. If you know how to post an ad to recruit some colleges students to help me, that would be appreciated, too. I am not sure if Craig list is the best place as I cannot screen if the person contacting me is indeed a student of UNCG or other schools.

Thanks much!

Default To SoyCat - Northwest Area Info

I currently rent a home in the Northwest Greensboro area, near the airport. It feel it is one of the safer areas in Greensboro. However, it is more expensive than some other areas. There are a few apartment complexes in this area. (Most along the type you are looking for are nearer Guilford College Rd and Friendly) I would suggest you may want to check the reviews of apartments in the area. Some will give you information from other tenants concerning details you are wanting.
This is one of the sites for apartment ratings .... Oh My Apartment from ApartmentRatings.com
It takes some time to get from here to UNCG and I either have to travel on Bryan Boulevard and/or I-40. So if you don't want to drive on the highway, I would suggest a location nearer to UNCG.
Good Luck in your search and the new job.

Hello Edinboro and Lookn4rental,

Thanks much for your advice and sorry for being a delayed thanks. I lost a family member during my moving arrangement out of a totally unexpected way.. Extremely difficult to get things organized while mourning a sudden loss.

Anyhow, thanks for the rating site. I did use and found an apt. that is relatively reasonable and I felt was safe when I was visiting the town. We will see.

I am checking out the site for eMove.com right now. Thanks much.
