What are some good places to go that are quiet kinda isolated not full of families? My boyfriend is not from Greensboro, he's coming down to visit and we want to have a nice quiet picnic where we can just lay a blanket on the ground and enjoy a nice lunch and relax.

I've been doing a little search and I know about Lake Brandt and the Bog Garden, any other recommendations would REALLY help.

Thanks :-)

Most of the city parks are large enough for you to find some privacy, such as Country park & Military park. The neighborhood parks probably can't offer the privacy you desire.

I think there's a good spot where the Greenway crosses Nat Greene Trail that'd be really good. I've jogged it a couple of times and stop on occasion but it's a small place on the water front where if you were on the lake you could land the boat. You'd definitely need a blanket but it's been dry a couple days and would be okay.

It's maybe 100 meters down Nat Greene Trail which not many people use anyways wedged between the Greenway and Old Battleground.
