We are planning to move to greensboro and my daughter is interested in Weaver academy or some of the early colleges. Does anybody have any information or advice about these schools? Thanks

I've heard nothing good about the Middle College at Greensboro College. Professors aren't interested in the early college students, limited activities, etc.

And conversely, good things about the Early College at Guilford College. Active parents and good faculty are the main things. Althoug Guilford is a private college, the Early College is part of the Guilford County school systems, which means the students still could have access to sports at a "home" high school in the system.

The Middle College at UNCG is brand new, and I'm not really sure what they're like, but are managed by the public school system just like the Guilford Early College.

Weaver's focus is on two things: Performing Arts and Computer/Technical Education (CTE). Are either of those her interests? If so it may be a good choice.
