Default Townhomes in Whitsett

As you can probably tell by my username, I'm on my way to the Whitsett area...thanks to my husband's rich uncle's brother's cousin's mother twice removed. Ok his job is moving us to the area. Anyway, we've passed through the area a time or two visiting an old college buddy of his, but never really took the time to get a feel for the little city. Blink and you're through it it seems. Anyway, we're looking for townhomes in the area as we're due to move by January of next year. While it's probably easier to rent, we'd love to buy a something that doesn't require too much more than a brushstroke of paint. I've researched a few places, or at least i've tried to, and decided looking here wouldn't hurt.

We don't have children and don't plan on them, so school district is not important right now. Now i've seen plans for area townhomes that are only one level and they're ok, but we're looking for something with at least two levels. A garage is always nice, but not important. Any dogparks in the area would be wonderful...Bruttus loves to scare of larger dogs (little doggie's complex I suppose) Anyway we're looking, and again January's right around the corner so looking to purchase, but will rent if we have to. We don't have a shoestring budget, but we're not looking for a million dollar home either. Any help/assistance would be great.

I've a friend looking to offload his townhome for a pretty good price. He's looking to sell it asap too! Base price was $130k, and he's just looking sell for what's left on the loan...between $78k -$85k (I think). I can put you in contact with him, just let me know. The house is nice, and I'm not saying this because he's a friend, but because the house really is nice. Laundry/utility and powder rooms off the kitchen, all white appliances. The only thing wrong with the place is the light fixture in the dining room...it's ugly!! Other than that the house is nice. Two large bedrooms, two bathrooms (Bruttus could fetch his own water) living area is a nice size as well.

If you're interested in taking a look-see, just let me know and I can put you in contact with him.

Would you happen to have any pictures? I'd love to take your word for it, but there has got to be a catch. I know the market is bad, but...send me some information please, I'm gonna talk with my husband and we're gonna have to arrange a visit.

There are a ton of places in the Whitsett/Stoney Creek area. A few bargains too. If the other one doesn't work out, do let me know and I will be glad to help.

Good luck!

Do you have any information about the Whitsett/Stoney Creek (that sounds like a good cup of java) area? It would be greatly appreciated. As stated before my husband and I have passed by going to his friend's place, so we really don't know much about it. How much do townhomes normally go for in the area?

There's stuff going up all over the place in that area. You can get into a nice place for less than $150k, in some cases less than $120k. Just depends on what you need.

Message me and I will send you a link to all the townhomes in the area for you to check out.
