Wink Looking for horse property?

We'll be moving from Cal. and need a place for our 2 horses, but I see very little already set up. What properties can be used for horses? We would want to be outside the city but not in total wildeness and would put up the run ins and fencing. Price range 250000 - 275000 and 3 -5 acres. Thanks for your help. Thanks

There are many areas in Guilford and the surrounding counties that do the horse thing. Oak Ridge, Summerfield, Pleasant Garden... just stay out of the city limits and ask your agent to find out if there are deed restrictions against horses. Lots of folks in Summerfield and Oak Ridge have horses in their back yards! The most recent one I did was in Pleasant Garden with 3 stalls and a ring. So they are there, you just gotta find them.

Good luck!

All around Stanly county. Horses are BIG here! And in your price range. Seems like every other house has horses. Course we are a bit out of town...a couple of miles. Lots of pasture and room. We are near Albemarle. We recently moved from CA. and a few of the homes we looked at here for sale were set up just for horses.

You might consider southwest Rockingham County. Convenient to Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Just beyond Oak Ridge, Stokesdale, and Summerfield. Not as pricey as Guilford County but close to Guilford County amenities. And very horse friendly.
