Well two of the biggest white-collar economic developments in Greensboro recently have been back office operations: BB&T and UnitedHealthcare. And understand that that's not a swipe against Greensboro at all; back office jobs pay decently for a lot of people and quite well for some.

It is out their back door, but unless another structure is going to be a donor vacant property is limited in that area.

True. I have been trying to figure out the location. I wish they would tear down that ugly building near Greene and Commerce. I think its an elk lodge or something. Looks like it use to be an old bank from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Architecture from that era was horrible.

Are you talking about the one on the corner of Eugene/Lindsay behind the ballpark?

No. another building closer to Greene st. But it's north of Bellemeade
