I like to job/run with my dog off-leash. Are there any area in the clemmons (Winston-Salem) area that are big and sprawling I might be able to go. I tend to run early around 5am?

You might try the BB&T soccer complex, just across the river off of US 158. I'm not sure if there's a gate there, but if there is you could probably park outside of it and go around it easily enough. Note that Forsyth County has a leash law, so you'd be violating it if you do this in Forsyth. Not sure about Davie County (which is where the soccer fields are), but at that time of the morning you'd probably not have a problem.
