Gift shops?
Can anyone direct me to shopping areas with gift shops, boutiques, home dec, etc? We relocated to this area for several months, and I need to Christmas shop!

There's a great little Mom and Pop store on Chapman street called Tranquilities which is really cool.
Tranquilities - Greensboro, NC 27403 - Reviews: Gift Shops Also, I agree with the Friendly Center- the new section has really cool shops for you... and a Ben and Jerry's!

Salem Creek and Tranquilities look like exactly what I am looking for! Thanks! I visited Friendly Center-am I missing some shops? Most of what I saw were "chain" stores. Nice shopping area though, and lunch at Mimi's was very good! :-)

Friendly center is mostly chain stores but there are a few good M&P's still there. There's one store that sells really cute stuff called Swoozie's which is a small chain. But their stuff is so cool like Tranquilities that I shop there anyway- being a small business owner since college, I like to hit indy stores first.
