Does anyone have an idea for a wedding venue that is unique such as a castle in the Burlington or Greensboro area? We looked at Castle Mccollogh but it wasn't what we were looking for. Any other ideas?

Well, if it's a castle you are looking for, you have already seen the only one I know about anywhere in the area. Sorry, and good luck.

Not sure how you define the Greensboro "area", but you might consider one of the many wineries in the foothills. Raffaldini is stunningly beautiful and could probably pass as a castle, but it's about 1.5 hours from Greensboro. There are many other wineries a bit closer such as Childress, Ragapple Lassie, RayLen, West Bend, etc.

My wife and I got married at the Proximity Hotel. Beautiful hotel to get married at. We also considered Castle McCollogh, but decided against it. Beautiful place though. That's the only "castle" that I know of as well. You might also consider the Ol' Henry Hotel and the place downtown Winston-Salem (that escapes my mind currently.)
