My husband and I are looking to relocate and have been looking for houses. We are planning a trip to visit different areas, but I have found a couple houses I really like on or around Peace Haven Road and was wondering if it is a good neighborhood?

Peace Haven stretches for 7-8 miles through Winston-Salem and Clemmons. It includes numerous neighborhoods and some rural-like areas. Exactly what area are you considering?

I *really* hope that means rental houses.
On top of all the other stressors of relocation... don't be in a hurry to add a mortgage.

You'll be pleased, pretty much all of Peacehaven Rd is full of nice places to live, used to live off of there myself.

I lived in Winston-Salem / Clemmons for many years and you really cant find a undesirable spot along Peacehaven.

The most annoying thing about Peacehaven was I remember the manhole covers were poorly placed and your tires would hit them often causing a vibration / clanking noise as you went down the road, lol.

They may have fixed that now...

Growing pains. When roads get widened the previously well placed manholes aren't well placed anymore.
