Something that I appreciate about downtown Greensboro (which also holds true many of the downtown areas of the Triad) is that is it's much more possible to find a very move in ready place that's accessible to plenty of amenities without paying an exorbitant amount like you would in some of the larger NC cities (to the extent of $300+ per SF to own). Something like this for example:
It still seems expensive to me since I remember what housing costs a few short years ago, but I've seen places like this go for double/triple the price in some NC cities which gets out of reach for so many people. And even in Greensboro, people are still paying a premium for downtown living in a good location.
yes i agree with you on that its a great buy i wonder what the HOA is for this?
I looked and it didn't give a specific monthly rate but on another website, a listing for the same unit said water and trash collection were included in the HOA dues.
That is a good point that has to be considered in the cost over time. I've rarely seen HOA dues on a condo be less than $100 per month. That seems to be a bare minimum nowadays and in some cases they are much more.
Looks like there are no more lawsuit issues with Scarfone holding up the Westin Hotel and Parking Deck. The land has been cleared but.construction has not started yet. The reason is that the city and developer have not signed a contract. City attorney says it will be signed within the next month so construction can begin.
