Seems like downtown winston and Greensboro are experiencing a construction boom, lots of construction lots everywhere

also, i love that new 3 story office building in winston, that design is beautiful and it's quite large, definitely has some presence.

So union square now has new renders!

Here is alot of new info, apparently construction is(officially scheduled) supposed to start next month.

Default Growth/Development in Winston-Salem & Greensboro

Ok, So I have been noticing that the population in both cities are above 200,000 people. What about the growth & development of the cities, are the cities expanding, growing, & developing more, or is there still areas that have a lot of undeveloped land.

There is no point trying to put another development on friendly, if the residents are just going to shut it down, what is this, the third time?

Are the cities expanding: Not sure what you mean. NC has tightened its annexation laws, so cities are not able to annex at the fringes of their city limits as they were in years past.

Growing: yes

Developing more: yes

Are there still areas that have a lot of undeveloped land: yes

I might be mistaken, but I don't think that's the plan. As I understand it, that area of the UNCG campus along Lee St. will grow some, but not nearly all the way to the downtown campus, which is shared between several different schools. Those are two separate developments.
