I am so glad to have found these forums!! We are planning to move to NC in a few years ( I know seems far away but it's a big move, and we need to be patient)
My husbands company will be transferring him to High Point. When we move I will have a middle schooler--the rest of the kids will be in college. I am looking to see where is a good town for families, looking for a 3-4 bedroom home in a residential area. I am completely clueless so any input in appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!!

For a rough start, I would start looking at ratings for middle schools around High Point. School Digger shows some better middle schools in Kernersville and Guilford County. The Northwest Guilford Middle is highly rated, and the Southwest Guilford Middle is average or better. If those are too far away, there are private and magnet schools within High Point.

While your advance research is appreciated, do know that if it's a LONG way off, things are changing quickly in the urban metro areas and whatever "advice" you get now may no longer apply in a few years. Continue research, focusing on as current info as you can get--read the local newspapers online, etc. And of course come to visit the area to get a firsthand feel.

Thank you for both of your replys. I have looked at a few smaller areas Summerfield for example. And yes I def am aware that a few years means change but it's so much information to take in I am trying to educate myself now as much as I can. Thanks again
