I live in the Oak Ridge area and been witnessing the new road construction going on for several months now. They are definitely making a lot of head way about it.

My question is, does anybody know the specifics as to where the road is going to connect to? I've heard rumors of the north side connecting into 220, and the other side connecting into Bryan Blvd. If this is true, my commute either way could be shortened quite a bit!

Yes, it will connect Bryan Blvd. to Battleground as part of an loop around G'boro.

Here's a map of the entire project, with the portion near you in blue (Western Loop U-2524C):

Here's the NCDOT website, which has a more detailed map, but I can't get it to open. Hopefully, it will work for you.

Sorry for getting back to this thread so late (I'm usually better with watching threads I post!) Thanks, Carolinadawg for the map! I'm super excited about this. I love living in Oak Ridge, but the thought of getting to places much quicker is always a great thing to me.
