Hello! My husband and I are 31 & 32, expecting our first child in the next few months, and seriously considering relocating from Raleigh NC to Greensboro NC to reduce our cost of living among other things. We previously lived in STL and Austin and are tired of the big city high prices & traffic. We both feel that Raleigh will be too big for our liking within the next few years. If we are looking to purchase a house in the $150 - $225 range (3 - 4 br), any suggestions on a safe/desirable area to purchase? And where to stay away from? We are not opposed to driving 30 min or so to get to downtown area.

Thanks!

In general, look at the west and northwest side of town.
