The event is free and open to the public. Admission if first come, first served. Doors open at 6PM and the event is at 7PM. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged. Members of the public are encouraged to carpool. Facility parking is available for $5 per car.
Feel the Bern! I'd love to go, but alas, I'll be out of town. I'm curious how he'll play in NC. He's been packing locations much larger than Greensboro for the last few months, but those were in locations traditionally friendlier to his message.
Should be a large turn out. The National Folk Festival will be going on at the same time so there will be a lot of people here from out of town who will want to see Bernie.
Well this is today, I sent an RSVP is that all I need to do? How early are y'all getting there? I spent the night in Burlington but have to leave at 2, will probably just head straight to Greensboro for lunch and hanging out or something haha. Planning on getting to the Colosseum around 4?
I didn't go - I'm going away next weekend and just couldn't do it - let us know what you thought! I hope he comes back sometime.
