What's it like? how far is it? Do you think it has heavy traffic and lots of trucks in various lanes? What's your take? Thanks!

I spent 3 years commuting to Winston Salem from Kernersville, both the I-40 and Business 40 areas and never had any problems. My ex-husband went the other direction toward Greensboro and again never had any problems. Depending on where you are going, it will take you approximately 20 minutes.

you can avoid I40 completely by taking Market Street all the way to Kville if there's a problem. Takes me 20-25 mins on that road. Otherwise, it's 40 baby! It will also depend on where you need to get in Kernersville what 40 you need.
