I recently received a job offer in Winston-Salem, but am waiting on more details before I know if I'll take it. I would be moving from Florida and have visited and checked out the area before, but am trying to get an idea of places to live in case this works out. It would just be me, so a 1 bedroom would be fine. From what I can tell, I'm leaning towards Brookberry Park because of the location, size of apartment and price. I don't want to live downtown, but would like to be part of a community so I can meet other people my age (early 30s). I want to be in a safe area with a nice place, and I've heard that the Country Club Rd area is good. Does Brookberry Park seem like my best best or are there other good ones I have been overlooking in my searches? Thanks so much!

Brookberry Park is in a very nice area. I don't know anything about the apartments specifically.

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, I'm still waiting on the final offer, but if it works out I'm leaning towards Brookberry Park. Either that, or I found some condos in Clemmons in an area called West Meadows, but it would be further away for me and since I'd have to rent from an individual owner, I'm not sure how availability would be. Plus, I'm sure I'd definitely have to sign a one year lease.

Traffic in the area is very light, even at rush hour. I'm not sure where you're moving from, but I came from Atlanta and I can't believe how easy traffic is here. If it's too far distance-wise that's one thing, but you really don't have to add traffic to your commute time.

That's good to know! I'm coming from a pretty high traffic area in FL, so I'm sure it'll be a much easier drive for me there. Thanks for the info!
