Moving To Lexington (Huntersville, Thomasville, Davidson: middle schools, live, to relocate)

Looking to relocate in the Lexington area... Trying to get some input on the City schools... Elementary and Middle schools...Thinking about the Winston area depends on the schools

The Davidson County schools are great.
I grew up and lived in northern Davidson County for 42 years prior to moving to Huntersville.
Welcome, Midway, Friedberg and Arcadia Elementary schools are in the northern area.

I would not even consider Lexington City schools. Look at North Davidson, Ledford in Davidson county. Forsyth: West Forsyth, Reagan.

(btw, there is no Arcadia Elem --it is Northwest Elem.)

I stand corrected. Northwest Elementary is in the Arcadia area of the County.

I think there was an Arcadia Elem before NW, but that was before my time here. Just didn't want the OP to be looking for the name of a school that isn't there anymore.

I agree with the other posters. Steer clear of Lexington City schools.

I would AVOID Lexington City Schools and concentrate on the North Davidson Schools.
