Hi Folks!

There has been talk of a greenway path from Clemmons West subdivision to Tanglewood Park.

Does anyone know the logistics of this? Where would it start and would there be parking in Clemmons West to access this greenway?

Thank you so much for your input.

-Munnie

I haven't heard anything about this. It seems odd since the neighborhood is adjacent to the park. I don't see where there's room or the need for a greenway.

I agree with you, arbyunc. Where in the world will they put this?

"The plan includes sidewalks, multiuse paths and greenways that, when completed, will connect the Clemmons West neighborhood to such destinations as Tanglewood Park, Clemmons Medical Center and the Jerry Long YMCA."

^ Thanks for linking that. I saw that article the other day, but I just skimmed the first few paragraphs as I already knew about the Village Point Greenway. I didn't know the plans included linking up to Clemmons West. The article says the plan includes "sidewalks, multi-use paths, and greenways" that will connect to Clemmons West. It also describes a sidewalk that will connect Village Hall to Tanglewood, so I'm guessing the Clemmons West connection would come from the existing sidewalk on Middlebrook Rd. which would take you to Village Hall. I don't know of anywhere to build a greenway in the neighborhood itself.
