What an absurd generalization to make to make, especially about a city with almost 300,000 residents and a long history of racial and religious tolerance and diversity.
There is even television and internet in Greensboro. Most places AREN'T insular in 2016, especially larger cities like Greensboro.

OP,

Got a great idea! Why don't you find out for yourself? Put yourself out there to where you have to socialize with all cultures, nationalities, and races. Present yourself with a nice, approachable, personality, and see what response you get. That is, honestly, the only way you will ever truly know what type of area Guilford County is.
