I guess the area is officially called midtown. I notice a blue sign on Battleground Ave that says "Midtown Greensboro"

I was disappointed to hear about Marshall Free House closing. We moved to the area about 4 months ago and we went to MFH sometime in August or so. Their scotch eggs were so good and we were looking forward to going back on a night where we could try more of what they had to offer. The new concept seems OK, but MFH was definitely more unique. That said, we'll definitely be trying out the new place.

We never have room for dessert when we eat out and I wanted to try the toffee pudding(?) on a trip. Kind of a drinks and dessert meal.
Perhaps they will integrate some of the MFH menu favorites into the new menu.

My only criticism is that the signs should have been a little larger. They are hard to read unless you are right up on it.

Maybe the signs will develop more as more development comes.

For what's it's worth, it looks like per their menu that the Traveled Farmer has Scotch Eggs. So they seem to have incorporated a little of the old menu. But....

No (toffee) pudding.
