Default New homes in a Specific area

Ok, everyone's been very helpful with schools, locations, etc. and now I'm going to inquire about a specific area. I'm curious if anyone can recommend a new home development that is between High Point and Hwy NC-109, north of 29/70 yet south of the Davidson County line so We stay in the Ledford schools. If you know of something just a little west of NC-109 that would be ok too.
Price range of $150-$200k.
Down here in Charlotte there are lots of small custom home builders that buy 10 or 20 acres and build small developments with 25-100 homes. I'd be interested if anyone knows of a builder and a development like this. We're also open to the "big guys" if that's all you know of. Thanks in advance!

Wow, I don't think you're going to find something that low in that area that's in a new subdivision. Generally homes run around $299,900 and up in the Ledford area.

You can try these subdivisions:
Meadowlands - Southern Woods
Meadowlands - Norwood Hills

But I think the cheapest house in those neighborhoods is around $265,000.

There may be others but I'm not sure. You're best bet would be to find an agent.

Why new construction? Don't rule out existing homes.
For that price range, you might be surprised as to what is for sale when compared to new homes.
Before you sign up with an Agent, get a good map of Davidson County and take a few Saturday and Sunday drives to look around the area.
