It will be really interesting to see how Revolution Mill pans out when completed.

"Dubbing it "the announcement we've all been waiting for," Natty Greene's Brewing Co. has scheduled a press conference for Tuesday in which the brewery is expected to confirm plans for a new restaurant and production brewery at Revolution Mill."

What a fitting setting in that building. I wish the revolution mill were downtown similar to the old tobacco warehouses in Durham and Winston-Salem but at least the downtown Natty Greenes restaurant will remain open.

That's awesome!!! I think being close to the Greensboro Coliseum is a great location! I don't want everything downtown.

This isn't actually near the Coliseum. That's where their production facility is now. This is in Revolution Mill northeast of Moses Cone Hospital. http://www.bizjournals.com/triad/new...tion-mill.html

I do think it's a good location for the production component, and a savvy move to have a full-scale restaurant onsite. I like the tasting room model that many brewers have at their production facilities, but if you have room to have a full-scale restaurant (and a nice setting for one) and still have room for a complete and expandable production effort, no reason to not do both.

According to the News and Record, it's going to be a production facilty/restaurant/market. So a restaurant will be included but it will be a slightly different concept from the one downtown. It will be called Natty Greene's Kitchen

Now if only the apartments in Revolution Mill would actually open. Although their website says they plan on opening in September, 2016, the word is they'll be lucky to open in October. They've already rolled back their Pre-Leasing phase, originally announced as April, 2016.
